Why I don't edit a few photos for "quick requests" after a shoot

As always, I truly can't speak for other photographers when I talk about the way I choose to work.

Sometimes clients are working on tight timelines for marketing campaigns, a website refresh, or a social post. If they haven't worked with me before, they don't realize how quickly I turn around their images. (Often within 24-72 hours depending on the size of the shoot.)

When they're in need  of a "quick handful of images," I often say no.

But why can't I just do a few?

Two reasons - one about you and one about me:

1. Would you rather get 5 images within 12 hours or 75 images within 24 hours? This is often unheard of when people are used to waiting weeks before receiving images from photographers. Also, the benefit of working with me is a quick return likely without a rush fee if you have some patience. (If you do need it faster, however, then we can talk details!)
2. I would rather process and edit the images once rather than twice - it's not just moving images from my camera to my computer to an album - it's quite a bit more than that!
