Focus Friday
BLOG + VLOG of AUTUMN THEODORE PHOTOGRAPHY
There are three things event photographers need in order to take high quality photos: 1. Must have adequate stage light. This is huge! An adequately-lit stage provides such a high-quality photo compared to the inadequately lit stage. Photographers are stuck without the right lighting. 2. No screen behind people, please. We totally understand the need to show videos, information, etc. Just plan to put the screen to the side of the stage, or give the speaker space (and direction!) on where to spend time during their speaking time. 3. Give the photographer room to walk around. Without room to walk around, photographers are unable to take photos around the room, and they're also getting in the audience's way. Most importantly, please leave about 36" of space between chairs and walls. What's also nice is a center aisle for direct angles as well!
Follow these three tips, and your photographer will be able to take much better photos! Happy Friday! Autumn
