Celebrating a whole year of self-employment!

One year ago today, I enjoyed my very first day of self-employment, which made me feel like this...

I'm especially happy when I think of the past 13 years:

December 2004 - realized I loved taking photos
October 2011 - bought my first DSLR camera
August 2012 - started my business when people wanted to pay me for photos
April 2016 - annual business growth inspired me start working toward self-employment
July 2016 - gave a 4 month notice at my job
November 30, 2016 - left my job
December 1, 2016 - first day of self employment
December 1, 2017 - things are going so well that today is a day to celebrate :)

Beyond my hard work, I credit so much of my success to all of the supportive people in my life. Support means hiring me, referring me, talking to me, hanging out with me, getting creative with me, and reading my blog posts! I don't think you'll ever understand how grateful I am for you. <3
