Metal Treating Institute

​The Metal Treating Institute (MTI) is the world's largest network of heat treaters, bringing together companies across the industry through education, professional development, networking, and advocacy. One of its signature leadership initiatives is the YES Management Training Program, an intensive 10-month program designed to develop stronger leaders within MTI member companies. For the program's graduation and annual awards celebration, MTI needed photography that could recognize more than 40 graduates and organizational leaders while also documenting the people, connections, and milestone moments that made up the evening.

The photography coverage was carefully planned around the event's schedule, beginning with individual portraits of each YES graduate, leadership photos, and a full class photograph before transitioning into candid reception coverage. As the evening continued, I documented the graduation and awards ceremonies, including presentations, award recipients, retiring directors, and the ceremonial passing of the gavel to the incoming president. The final gallery gave MTI a polished collection of portraits and event imagery they could use to celebrate their graduates and leadership, recognize members, share the success of the YES program, and promote future programs and events
